Andrew Mooney - Managing Director

Andrew Mooney comes from an engineering background in Broadcast Television. He has provided design, installation and maintenance services for Television Networks, Post-Production Houses and Outside Broadcast Companies worldwide. This background gives Andrew a thorough understanding and appreciation of the system needs of Broadcasters and high-end Post Production Companies. This, combined with a drive to provide innovative excellence in Digital Media Solutions, helps him to guide the team at Digistor and ensure the company's product and service portfolio is the best available for the company's client base.

Martin Perrins - Sales Manager

Martin joined Digistor after running into Andrew on a tropical island. Having spent a few years building his art collection (owning a gallery helps) and generally enjoying a change of pace from "a long time" in vendor land, he decided to do some sales and general management of Digistor and hopefully let Andrew spend a bit more time on tropical islands.


Ganesh Raghavan - Finance Manager

Ganesh is our finance man. He is a Chartered Management Accountant with a wealth of accounting experience both in Australia and abroad having worked in small companies and larger corporations. He heads the Accounts department and is responsible for all accounting/finance operations and can usually be found in front of the television in reception watching the cricket.

 

Mark Richards - Group Marketing Manager

After running his own specialist video solutions supply company for nearly 20 years, the time had come to rest on his laurels and spend time dispersing the Digistor Group marketing budget on trinkets, entertainment, design and frivolous print advertising. Low and behold, it seems the market has noticed!


Pete Brownstein - Southern Regional Manager

Pete brings to Digistor over 23 years experience in the IT industry with a primary focus on post production. He ran his own business for five years selling NLE solutions, training and providing post production and technical services before working in video equipment sales. Prior to joining Digistor he worked for Adobe Systems as their Market Development Manager for Dynamic Media products, including Flash Media Server(FMS) and the Digital Video Applications in the Asia Pacific region. His experience in customer service and broad understanding of production workflow allows him to work with all levels of business in the media industry.

Sean Curran - Account Manager

"Born from an egg on a mountain top, Sean came forth and....was."
Grammatical errors and existential ponderings aside, Sean is a valued member of the Digistor Sydney Sales Team. His hobbies include alphabetising alphabetty spaghetti, writing glam rock music, and dabbling in computers every now and then. Sean has come from a sales background in the IT industry, providing elegant solutions to complex customer needs, and has a passion for script writing, and making fun of others people's failings.

 

Warwick Morris- Southern Region Sales

Warwick's keen interest and passion for video, film and post production has seen him involved in both sales and technical roles over the past 15+ years primarily with NLE systems. He was Product Manager for Pinnacle\Avid Liquid range in Australia providing sales and support to resellers and customers, product demonstrations and training. More recently Warwick was lead Q.A. tester at Blackmagic Design testing development software and hardware making sure everything worked as it should. Warwick also has a keen interest in music, playing bass (very occasionally) and learning acoustic guitar. Occasionally, interests merge together when he is talked into filming and editing friends bands live shows. With a love of technology, especially related to the production industry, Warwick loves to tinker with computers as well as various editing and compositing packages to see what's new and exciting.

 

Matt Wood - Account Manager

Matt is virtually indistinguishable from a super-hero. Faster than a speeding budget and able to close huge deals in a single call. Matt joined Digistor after holding senior sales positions at Hire Intelligence, Computer Associates (CA) and Microhire. He has extensive experience with customers requiring integrated audiovisual and IT equipment which is invaluable to our customers. Matt enjoys tennis, cricket, footy (supporting the mighty Wests Tigers and Sydney Swans) and the occasional drink (sport makes you thirsty!)

 

Lachlan Robbins - Account Manager

Lachlan has spent the last eight years working in the media production hub of Soho in London. He worked for UK custom audio systems manufacturer, Carillon, selling and supporting professional solutions for the audio production market. Lachlan has a strong technical background having also worked for Fuji Xerox and in his spare time he likes to dabble in audio production using software such as Cubase and Logic.

 

The Unknown Salesperson

He expertly attends to the sales line in Sydney, often working late into the night. No task is seen as too small and he thrives on new sales opportunities. Despite his unquestionable skill and knowledge, he prefers to remain anonymous. Who is he? He's the "Unknown Salesperson". Next time you contact Digistor for sales assistance or advice, you could be talking to the "Unknown Salesperson".

 

Andrew Proude – Support Engineer 

Resident All-Black and voted most likely to be the next Bill Gates in a recent Digistor poll, Andrew has a history in both 3D animation and Windows Server support. Andrew's extensive experience across multi platform sites incorporating Aspera, Windows Servers, Microsoft Exchange, render farms, IP networks and all the backend infrastructure required to support the most complex of production studios give real depth to Digistor's tech talent.

Certifications include: Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, 3D Digital Effects and Animation.

 

Jordan Tiburcio – Support Engineer

Voted the smiliest Digistorian in a recent staff poll, there's a rumour that Jordan was born holding a mini Apple in his hand. As time has gone on this Apple has grown to be of Expert proportions. A Certified System Administrator and XSAN specialist, Jordan has managed the installation of numerous XSAN sites and supports clients across Sydney with a healthy mix of smiling professionalism and comprehensive knowledge of everything Apple.

Certifications include: Apple Certified System Administrator, Apple Certified Directory Services Integration and Adminstration, Apple Certified XSAN Administrator, QLogic Fibre Channel Specialist.

Eric Wang – Technical Support Engineer

Educated at Beijing University, Eric joins Digistor from Altech Computers. Having held similar positions on Wintel platform, Eric joined Digistor to look after rollout and repair of Apple products and SANman storage servers. He also coordinates with suppliers and customers regarding warranty claims.

Simon Fenton - Support Engineer - Melbourne

Having fled the misty mountains of Middle Earth 15 years ago, Simon moved to London where he worked for a variety of media companies including Walt Disney International, MTV Europe and the BBC. After nine years of warm lager, mushy peas and jellied eels, he decided to move back "down under" and settled in Melbourne two years ago. Simon has a Diploma in Television and video production and still cuts the occasional short film or music video using Final Cut Pro in his spare time. He enjoys playing guitar, drums, cooking, photography and the occasional round of golf, especially the 19th hole. Simon is an Apple certified technical co-ordinator but also brings many years of Microsoft Windows product knowledge to the table.
