One of my favourite lens isthe 24-70mm f2.8 is a great all rounder, for medium and long shots. I also love the 50mm f1.2 a super fast super handy piece of glass! And for a wide angle lens you cant go past the 20mm f2.8 also from canon, good when you want a little distortion and a nice wide angle.

But if you need other focal lengths or Zeiss lens just give me a call for a great price and to answer any questions about the Camera you may have.

As for the Camera I am yet to get my hands on one of these as they do not ship until July but the RAW and graded test footage I have seen seems very promising; with a great dynamic range and film quality video. Making it stand out from footage shoot by Digital SLRS.

The Blackmagic Cinema camera captures film quality video on its 2.5K sensor and outputs it to CinemaDNG RAW, ProRes and DNxHD file formats with a built-in SSD recorder.

The Cinema Camera’s compact body includes a touch screen, metadata entry and a Thunderbolt connection and is made from a solid block of aluminium, which will be light yet sturdy (1.7kg with out a lens)

Once you've captured the video, Blackmagic have included copy of DaVinci Resolve to take care of all colour correction needs.

The best thing about the Blackmagic camera? It's actually really affordable. At AU$3075 or US$2995, you can grab yourself one now, with product shipping in July.

Notable specs from the Blackmagic site include:

Shooting resolution: RAW at 2.5k (2432 x 1366)

Frame rates: 23.98p, 24p, 25p, 29.97p, 30p

Sensor size: 16.64 mm x 14.04 mm

Battery: Integrated Li-Ion with 90 minute life

Recording Formats: RAW 2.5K CinemaDNG, Apple ProRes (compressed), Avid DNxHD (compressed).
