MC 101 Media Composer Editing Essentials
Digistor is an AVID certified training centre and we are proud to be offering the AVID Media Composer Certified User course.
Official training on Avid Media Composer opens the door to unmatched creative and career opportunities. Back up your Media Composer Training investment with industry-recognised certification. By becoming certified, you’ll be joining a community of editors just like you, where you’ll get advice, hear about real-world projects, and expand your personal and professional network.
Avid’s Media Composer certification is comprised of two levels. Take the first step toward becoming an Avid Certified Professional by attending a class at Digistor.
On the 3rd day of the course, students will undertake the certification exam. Once completed successfully, students will receive certification credentials from AVID and will be listed on their site as a certified Media Composer user.
Coming soon will be the Media Composer Certified Professional course, which follows on from the Certified User course.
Date: 22nd - 24th August 2012
Length: 3 days
This course is the first step in achieving confidence, creativity, and efficiency with Avid Media Composer 6, the non-linear film/video editing application used in most movie and television productions. Along with its counterpart, (MC 110) MEDIA COMPOSER 6: PART 2–EFFECTS ESSENTIALS, this course provides the foundation for Media Composer User Certification.
We keep our classes small so you get maximum attention from the instructor.
This course leads you through the interface and basic editing techniques before moving on to trimming, fine-tuning the edit, adjusting audio, handling multicamera editing, adding transitions, adding titles, and outputting your finished project. The training is hands-on and features project-based lessons in which you work on real-world projects ranging from extreme sports and dazzling documentary footage to an episode of the television show Hell's Kitchen. This course is the first step in mastering Avid Media Composer 6, the standard editing system used by professionals in the film and television industries.
