ACS50 Conference & Exhibition

Future of the Image

The Australian Cinematographers Society (ACS) is celebrating 50 years contribution to Australia’s film and television history with a landmark conference, exhibition and golden anniversary awards ceremony from May 28-June 1, 2008 at the Overseas Passenger Terminal, Circular Quay West, Sydney.

The world’s leading camera makers and editing/FX software developers will display, demonstrate and describe their latest HD, 35mm and 4K image capture and post production tools to Australia’s cinematographers, producers, editors and CG artists at ACS50: The Future of the Image Conference and Exhibition.

Hosted by the Australian Cinematographers Society (ACS), The Future of the Image celebrates 50 years of ACS support for Australian film and television with workshops, master classes, and an international conference and exhibition – and it’s open to all film, video and multimedia professionals and students.

“If you’re a media student, or if your name is on the credits of any film or television production, you need to visit the ACS50 show and see your future,” says ACS50 chairman and cinematographer Calvin Gardiner ACS.
