Account Manager - AEC and VFX
Location: Sydney or Melbourne based with WFH options for the appropriate candidate
As a Digistor AEC and VFX Account Manager, you will be working in collaboration with the most respected vendors from around the world whilst being supported by a highly skilled and talented team of technical, sales and administrative support personnel. You'll create and develop successful ongoing business relationships, helping to cement Digistor's position as the premier technology solutions provider in the AEC, Design Visualisation and VFX space.
Digistor maintains a strong presence in the marketplace through the company's own events, industry conferences, exhibitions, and other marketing activities. You will have the opportunity to participate and support these activities, networking with vendor and customer contacts, expanding your knowledge and enhancing account relationships.
Leveraging the resources of the broader Videocraft group, you will have access to an experienced engineering and technical support team across Australia.
Your role will include:
- Develop new business and nurture existing customers and prospects in AEC, Design Visualisation and VFX space
- Achieve the assigned revenue targets and gross profit goals
- Develop and nurture relationships with key organisations/groups in this space (Architects society, etc)
Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
- Prospect for new clients and business opportunities
- Develop and build relationships with new clients and stronger, deeper relationships with existing clients
- Participate in the pricing of products/solutions/services, prepare quotations and present to clients/prospects
- Attend industry functions, events and conferences and provide feedback and information on potential opportunities and market trends
- Identify, present to and consult with management on business trends with a view to developing new services and products
- Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met
- Maintain and develop relationships with vendors
- Present a professional image at all times

Technical Support Engineer
Location: Sydney, NSW
As one of Digistor’s Support Engineers, you will play a critical part in providing and supporting leading edge solutions to help our customers create and deliver world class content for feature films, television, gaming, video streaming and so much more. Importantly you'll be collaborating with the most respected vendors from around the world whilst being supported by a highly skilled and talented team of technical, sales and administrative support personnel, all with one goal in mind – to provide the exemplary level of technical support and technical services our nationwide array of top-tier media and entertainment customers have come to expect of Digistor.
Your role will include:
- Taking ownership of assigned customer support issues to ensure resolution and high levels of customer satisfaction
- Taking the lead engineer role for assigned projects from the pre-sales/handover through installation, ATP and handover
- Developing and maintaining technical documentation for customer installations, including pre-sales documentation, solution design and connectivity, asset management, build documentation, IT and related communication correspondence
The successful candidate will:

- be naturally inquisitive, with a desire to continually develop new knowledge and skills both autonomously and as part of a structured training program

- possess a working knowledge/understanding of:
- Server maintenance: Windows Server, Linux Server
- Client operating systems: Windows, macOS, some Linux
- Directory service: Active Directory Domain Services, including Azure AD
- Cloud Experience: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, SharePoint
- Virtualisation: VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V
- Networking: LAN, WAN, Wireless infrastructure, network security
- Data backup solutions: Veeam, LTO infrastructure
- Networking and security experience
- Scripting: Bash, Python, PowerShell - and even better if you have knowledge of:
- Cloud Experience: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, SharePoint
- Virtualisation: VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V

Sales Account Manager
Location: Sydney, NSW
As a Digistor Sales Account Manager, you will be working in conjunction with Digistor's skilled and experienced pre-sales engineers and salespeople to propose and sell solutions to established and new customers. You'll create and develop successful ongoing business relationships, helping to cement Digistor's position as the premier technology solutions provider.
You will report to the Managing Director and, supported by internal resources, determine, present and provide quotations, and sell solutions that fulfil customer requirements to the highest degree. In addition, you will pro-actively determine, explore and develop new customer opportunities.
Digistor maintains a strong presence in the marketplace through the company's own events, industry conferences, exhibitions, and other marketing activities. You will have the opportunity to participate and support these activities, networking with vendor and customer contacts, expanding your knowledge and enhancing account relationships.
The successful candidate will:
- be both energetic and motivated, with a strong desire to contribute their best to a team that prides itself on supporting each other and working collaboratively to achieve the best outcomes
- be naturally inquisitive, with a desire to continually develop new knowledge and skills both autonomously and as part of a structured training program
- understand the value of personal interaction in forging strong and mutually rewarding long term business relationships
- have proven experience with at least two years prior engagement in a technical sales role, ideally within the digital media industry
