Conference Presentation

Video in the Cloud - as it should be
Cloud adoption is on the rise - flexibility, scalability, agility, simplicity are well recognised – but in reality many aspects of technology used in the cloud are not purpose built. Video codecs such as H.264, HEVC, AV1 are optimised for streaming delivery and linear playback using standard technology - but cumbersome for post-production, management and distribution of content. An innovative, purpose built cloud native codec eliminates buffering and re-rendering of content across many workflows. Blackbird is built around a core vision: a workstation experience in the cloud. Any device, anywhere but also immediate access and fluid navigation without buffering or rendering delays. With technical issues solved, creatives can focus on the content
