With extensive experience in the Post Production, Film and Broadcast industry, Christopher has worked with broadcasters such as the ABC, software houses such as Autodesk, and now, as the Media and Entertainment Solution Specialist for Quantum. This breadth of experience gives Christopher a unique understanding of the Media and Entertainment industry, and how to build an optimal solution suitable for each stage of the media and entertainment workflow. |

The Holy Grail of content creation - HDR - is upon us. In this session, Marcus breaks down the HDR post-production workflow and looks at ways to calibrate and use SDR monitors to create HDR content in colour critical applications. Marcus is a colourist and digital finishing artist. Over the last 18 years, his work has focused on solving complex post-production pathways and bringing a level of excellence to the finish of award-winning films, art installations, TVCs and television series. Marcus works with Bluepost as a senior colourist on episodic television and has recently launched United Finishing Artists for independent film projects and special art collaborations. |

Animation Industry at a Glance: Checking the pulse for health and opportunities | David Zwierzchaczewski, Animation Specialist, Autodesk |
David will take a close look at the animation industry in ANZ and to see where it is growing and contracting, what are the trends and what can be expected for the future. He will explore where the opportunities are for new content including AR and VR and how the features in current animation tools, technologies and emerging platforms allow content creators to take advantage of these opportunities. David Zwierzchaczewski has been at Autodesk for the last 5 years and previously worked for 16 years in the film, TV, and games industries. David has a deep understanding of the animation industry, both its pipelines and what is currently trending. David is a respected voice in animation and 3D content creation forums and on social media. He is on the beta programs of many different software applications and has a unique insight into what the future might hold. |

Production Design Facilitating Visual Storytelling | Jacinta Leong, Art Director |
Jacinta will look at her workflows and pipelines using 3D tools to model, draw and communicate effectively. Her design and previsualisation techniques and experience have broad application for set designers, cinematographers, VFX specialists, directors and art departments working in film, television, live theatre, events, live streaming, advertising and even retail fit-outs. Jacinta is an Art Director for Feature Films. She has worked most recently on "Pirates of the Caribbean 5", "Alien: Covenant" and "Hacksaw Ridge". AutoCAD has been her main software since 1986, when she worked at Thomson Adsett Architects. 2017 marks her 24th year in the Film Industry, where she enjoys the creative collaboration between Departments. AutoCAD, 3DS Max and V-Ray allow her to keep working on projects which call for an infinite variety of different worlds and time periods.
